This is true for the overwhelming numbers of strays, surrenders, and accidental litters. Prevention to stop the root causes will go a longer way than scooping the water out of the sinking canoe of rescue and shelter. We need our Anderson communities to change the way they view dogs as pets and family members, as well as how they are cared for. We need resources to help all communities, nation wide, to learn more about dogs, their communication, best training practices, true financial costs, and more. Along with rescue work, Pawsitive Impact's primary focus is to promote awareness, education, and advocacy for change.

County and State shelters are funded by taxpayers' dollars. I approve! But rescues and other shelters are funded by caring individuals like you. The dogs that the county shelters can't medically fix, have too many to house properly, are declining past the point of quality of life, etc., are looking to rescues to take them for a second chance at life.
Without the donations from caring individuals like you, rescue cannot function. We cannot feed the dogs, get them enrichment, or provide proper veterinary care.
Pawsitive Impact is an Anderson, SC based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization dedicated to changing the future of animal care and help rehome and keep dogs in current homes.
