Once we approve your application the foster or another volunteer will reach out to discuss the dog in more detail to ensure a great fir for you and your lifestyle.

Once a match is made a meet and greet with the dog will be schedule. If everything goes well you can and go home with your pup that day!

We emphasize the 333 Rule of fostering and adoptions. 3 days to settle without any visitors or meeting other pets in the home, 3 weeks to get used to their new routine, and three months to show their full personalities. We also recommend any adopted dog gets into group training classes for basic manners within the first 3 weeks. This helps to build the bond and prevent unwanted behaviors from starting!
Pawsitive Impact always takes our Greenville area dogs back for any reason for their entire lifetime! We will of course, do our best to help you solve any rehoming issues so they can stay with you. Always reach out once an issue begins. We are here for you and your pup for life!
Adopting should be easy, but rescues and shelters should be vetting homes better. At Pawsitive Impact we match dogs based on what we see and what has been reported by previous owners or shelter volunteers.
We offer foster -to- adopt for those that are not yet cleared for adoption to give you more time to ensure a goof fit. We will not consider their spot open until thirty days after the adoption has been finalized.
